Emma began campaigning for Scottish independence during the referendum and joined the party shortly afterward. She is in 4th year of a law and politics degree at Glasgow Uni and is an active member of GUSNA. Emma also has the privilege of participating in the EU’s Erasmus programme, which allowed her to study abroad in Ghent, Belgium. This has encouraged her to campaign harder for an independent Scotland in the European Union. Since joining the party over 4 years ago, Emma has held various positions in the the youth and student wings of the party. Emma is especially interested in equality, welfare and education.
